今年榜单名的Cooper Union 是一个大亮点。 学校是1859年建校的私立学校，是亚伯拉罕林肯1860年著名的Cooper Union 演讲的所在地。他的接受率7.7%表明他是全美难申请的学校之一，到2014年为止，Cooper Union一直保持着给所有录取学生全额奖学金的传统。现在，学校会按照比例增减学生的费用。
