著名喜剧明星罗宾·威廉姆斯在家中自杀身亡

曾主演《死亡诗社》《勇敢者游戏》 《心灵捕手》等电影，拿过奥斯卡佳男配和金球奖终身成就奖的著名喜剧明星罗宾·威廉姆斯于2014年8月11日被人发现死于加州Tiburon的家中，终年63岁。据《赫芬顿邮报》报道，警方认为威廉姆斯是自杀身亡。

警方报告中写道：8月11日上午11:55左右，警局接到911报警电话，称一位白人男子在加州Tiburon的家中人事不省、呼吸全无。

12:00，警局、消防队和急救人员赶到现场。12:02，男子被宣布死亡。

该男子的身份被确认为63岁的电影明星，Robin McLaurin Williams。

目前，警方检验人员怀疑威廉姆斯是自杀身亡，死因是窒息。但还需要更全面的调查来确定。

威廉姆斯的妻子Susan Schneider也发表声明：

"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."
